Dhikala and Bijrani

Forest Rest Houses

There are four forest rest houses inside the Dhikala Zone for the overnight stay of tourists, which are:

• Sultan FRH
• Gairal FRH
• Sarapduli FRH
• Dhikala FRH

You can stay in any rest house, but the jeep safari will cover the same area in the Dhikala Zone.

Itinerary Tour Package

Day 01

• You will be picked up at 12 noon from the boarding place, which is Ramnagar.
• Within 20 minutes, you will reach Dhangadi gate and then the forest rest house.
• You will have lunch after check-in; only vegetarian food is allowed for lunch.
• You will go for the evening jeep safari between 02:30 pm – 06:30 pm.
• After the jeep safari, you will have dinner and an overnight stay inside the forest rest house.

Day 2

• Early morning wake-up for the morning jeep safari between 05:30 am – 09:00 am.
• You will have breakfast after the morning safari is over.
• You will have lunch after some rest; only vegetarian food is allowed for lunch.
• You will go for the evening jeep safari between 02:30 pm – 06:30 pm.
• After the jeep safari, you will have dinner and an overnight stay inside the forest rest house.

Day 3

• Early morning wake-up for the morning jeep safari between 05:30 am – 09:00 am.
• You will have breakfast after the morning safari is over.
• After breakfast, you have to check out from the forest rest house.
• You will be dropped off at 12 noon at Ramnagar from the forest rest house.

Terms & Conditions

• Camera Fee: For cameras with a lens ≥ 300mm, the fee is Rs 1000 for Indians and Rs 2000 for foreigners. For cameras with a lens < 300mm, the fee is Rs 1500 for Indians and Rs 3000 for foreigners.
• Package valid from 15th Nov to 15th June.
• Once accommodation permit is generated, advance payment is not refundable.
• Child below 5 years will be complimentary.
• Pets are not allowed inside the park.
• Don't forget to carry your original ID proofs.

Booking Procedure

• Names, age, gender, and ID proof number (Driving license / PAN card / Voter ID / passport) of every person is required.
• 50% of the total package cost is required to submit the application.
• Availability of rooms shall be confirmed 40 days before the date of arrival.
• Balance payment to be deposited once we confirm the availability.
• In case of non-availability of rooms, advance payment will be refunded.
• We are only making reservations for the rest house. We are not responsible for the quality of services at the rest house operated by the forest department.

About Forest Rest Houses (FRH)

• Other than Dhikala & Gairal forest rest houses, all the rest houses do not have electricity. Power is provided by generators up till 10 pm.
• Dhikala zone has its four rest houses: Dhikala, Gairal, Sarapduli, and Sultan.
• Bijrani zone has two rest houses: Bijrani and Malani.
• There is an option of dormitory available at Gairal, Dhikala, and Bijrani rest houses for those looking for economical options.
• In case of non-availability of rooms, advance payment will be refunded.
